This product is outstanding! I tried multiple different grippers from local hardware stores with no success in keeping the corner piece of our sectional sofa from sliding everywhere. I found this product by doing a google search. When it came in the mail, it didn't look like much. In fact, I figured I wasted my money. I couldn't have been more wrong. This is the ONLY product that has worked to keep the couch stationary on our hardwood floors. Thank you! ckw 1/30/2012

This is to confirm that I received the grippers today. I used them on our couch in the living room where we have marble flooring. The couch hasn't moved even with my kids jumping around!! FINALLY... grippers that WORK! I am so happy that I found these online. I would definitely recommend trying this product before other grippers. If I would have known about STAY! I just wanted to say thank you for putting out such a great product. Who would've thought one little item would make my life that much easier?! Now I don't have constantly keep readjusting and lining up the couches every time my dog lunges off, or when my kid runs into it, or even whenever I go to stand up. Not anymore! I am BEYOND impressed!!! I had one recliner that was particularly bad – travelled all over the room…..you can flop in it and it doesn’t move at all!!! Gregg went above and beyond my expectations regarding your product, and meeting my needs. I would love to share my experience with other customers and have written a breif summary. Stay Furniture grippers work...and can be used in unique ways too! Here's my story:
My daughter is a dancer who competes in multiple competitions each year. For the upcoming season, she is doing a solo with a prop! The prop is a light weight, metal bench that needs to be placed onto the stage at the beginning of her dance; and then quickly removed! In practice the bench kept sliding on the dance floor as she danced on it. I thought for sure she was going to injure herself! I frantically surfed the web to see if there was anything made that would address this problem!
I stumbled onto the Stay Furniture Grippers website and read the product description. I was hopeful that this product was the answer to the runaway, and sliding bench!
I contacted the company and spoke with Gregg. Gregg was a pleasure to talk with and provided me with customer service excellence! I described my situation and he was able to recommend just the right gripper to meet my needs! Gregg rushed the gripper out and I placed them under the prop! Gregg and Stay Furniture Grippers, saved the day...it is perfect! Now I can feel confident that my daughter will not get injured on a sliding bench! We bought a wonderful modular couch and within 3 days I was thinking about returning it. We felt like we were spending more time realigning it than sitting on it. The couch would slid up against the walls and trap the curtains. I looked into buying your product when we had laminate floors installed last October but I wasn't really sure they would work. This January when we bought our new couch I checked your website again and saw that your product had been reviewed on some local news shows and both times the reporters raved about the grippers. Still the skeptic, I ordered 8 grippers, 4 for a recliner and 4 for one piece of the sofa. They arrived a few days later and ........THEY WORKED!!!!!!!!!! Hi, my wife and I recently got a 5 piece sectional couch, and it was sliding all over our hardwood floors. We have two labs and they run and jump on it, and we couldn't stop it from sliding. Since we got these , the couch has been in the EXACT same place, even with LOTS of runing and jumping from the dogs. Thank you for your help! I had to write you. I often get sucked into gadgets and ultimately they fail me -- this was not the case with the Stay Furniture Grippers. Our couch is really heavy but it still was moving anytime we sat on it or up against it on the floor. It drove us crazy. I've tried so many things that I had given up. I just got my first set in the mail and they are amazing. We have a 10 month old who has started to cruise and I’ve been worried about him falling from furniture sliding away from him. Now my couch simply does not budge and I’ve ordered enough for the whole room! I wish I had found these last year before the couch put scratches in our new floor. We have a sectional couch, and when we moved from our apartment with carpets to our house with hardwood floors, we discovered the sectional pieces did not stay together well at all. Dear Holly, If I met you in person, I would give you a huge hug, thanking you for bringing this invention to life. We recently bought a three piece sectional and loved it, except for the fact that it slid around on the hardwood floor and separated every time we sat down. We just got our furniture grippers yesterday, and inserted them under our sectional right away....instant gratification! The grippers work perfectly. My 50 lb. dog takes a running jump from 20 feet away onto my loveseat many times per night, and nothing moves, except for the dog. Joan 12/26/2009

Thanks for sending me a sample. Yea, the Grippers work great! I only put them under one piece of the sectional....and that portion stayed in place. The rest of it still moves out of place....and drives me crazy! I haven't seen any signs of floor markings from them.....so I thought we would give them a try. Just wanted to let you know that I finally decided to order these and just put them under the new 3-piece sectional. – Awesome! They totally passed the kids test of jumping and the adult tests as well, and they are holding firmly on our hardwood floor. Works better than every single alternative that we tried from Lowe’s and Home Depot (and believe me, we tried them all). I just wish they were more well-known. It’s a shame you can’t buy them in any stores. Not that it’s hard to order them online, but I would think you guys could get so much more exposure and business since (shockingly) there is really no other similar product out there. Bought these to keep a large chair from easily sliding on our wood floors. Even though the chair is large, it would slide across the floor with the push of one finger. The legs of the chair are large (3 1/2" square), and I could not find anything on the market to fit, and trust me, I looked everywhere. Not only were these perfect, as the chair does not move AT ALL, and there is no damage to my floor. Plus, at 4" square, these fit perfectly! Great product at a really great price!
